ABOUT ME

Raised in Calgary, Alberta and Southern California, I have been creating art nearly my entire life. My fascination with art began when I was seven years old, creating accessories for Barbie dolls and admiring Picasso paintings. I love to experiment with different textures and mediums — from watercolors to chicken wire to dehydrated fruit. My experiences with depression and tearing my ACLs have influenced my artwork. I take inspiration from the movement and color found in nature. My goal as an artist is to destigmatize mental illness and encourage conversation about mental health. I am currently a student at Crean Lutheran High School, where I am taking AP 3D Studio Art.
